Koala Store or Candy Shop is a candy store where The King sends The Prince to roll katamaris. The candy shop is featured in Beautiful Katamari and it reappears again in Katamari Forever. The candy shop as it name implies sells candy, the shop also sells toys and other assorted goodies for children to buy, kids are also able to buy rulers, streamers, party whistles, and anything they find to be interesting.
The shop is run by a grandmother who is normally seen sitting in the doorway, she lives in the other half of the entire building.
Koala Store is located in Uguisu Town.
Layout[]
The candy shop has two major parts to it, the store itself and the living area of the grandmother. In the shop part of the building, there are shelves filled with candy, toys, and other assorted goods, there is usually a kid standing in the shop.
In the house part of the building, there is a huge round table in the center of the room, a small kitchen area with sink and stove, a small window to look out on the town. The room has a TV a dresser filled with antiques and a door way that leads to a small hallway that doesn't connect to anything else.
Judging from the outside of the store, there is a back door on the back left corner of the store, although not able to be seen from the inside. there is an obvious exit seen from the outside. There also seems to be an upstairs portion as well by looking at the windows below the roof. This can be assumed to be some kind of bed room or maybe an attic, even though we're unable to see a ladder or staircase.
