Merchandise

Merchandise centered around the Katamari series has been produced since the game's release. However, the newer merchandise is easier to buy due to the rise of online shopping. Shown below are galleries of the various sets of official Katamari-related merchandise, no matter the type.

Promotional merchandise[]

Miscellaneous items such as The Prince Playstation Portable case, phone straps, puppets, stickers, and wrist rests have been created for promotions and giveaways.

For 19th Next Generation World Hobby Fair, Katamari Damacy-themed magnets sets were given to anyone who played the demo. ^[1]
For a limited time, if you preordered Katamari Damacy, you would receive a Katamari-themed fabric phone strap.^[2] This strap is yellow with "塊魂" in green text plastered on it and has a Prince charm with him sitting on top of a Katamari.	Prince phone strap Promotional standee
An umbrella was designed and distributed Sony Computer Entertainment Korea for the Korean release of Katamari Damacy.^[3] Unfortunately, those who had preordered the game didn't receive the umbrella in time (or at all). An official stated: "It is the distributor's responsibility to fail to protect the rights of pre-order buyers and to have problems such as supplying supplies to offline stores before the official release date." A sincere apology to the pre-order buyers who have seen the show should be preceded, and proper measures will be needed to prevent this from happening in the future.” ^[4] The umbrellas ended up becoming incredibly rare, being labeled as "ultra miracle super rare umbrellas" by the King in an announcement. So far, only one image from a blog post of the actual umbrella has been found. Next Generation World Hobby Fair gave out t-shirts reading "I ♥ TVGAME" on the front and "みんな大好き塊魂" on the back, with a Prince head resembling a Gameboy Advance. ^[7]	Front of the shirt Back of the shirt

A 48-page notebook containing Katamari Damacy Online artwork was distributed across South Korean elementary schools.^[10]
In Korea, if you preordered Katamari Forever, you would receive a Prince plush cushion.
In 2009, a giveaway was held on the Korean gaming site gamevil.com and prizes such as Katamari games and a Katamari watch could be won.

In 2015, a line of official Squishable Katamari pillows was produced, designed by Kendra W. Three pillows were produced - a King pillow, a small Katamari ball, and a pillow displaying artwork from the Shiftylook Katamari comics.

We Buy Your Kids / MONDO[]

We Buy Your Kids and Mondo Records teamed up to produce a physical vinyl release of the Katamari Damacy soundtrack in 2018 - officially licensed pins were also produced.

The 2018 release of the Soundtrack on vinyl includes two 180 gram colored vinyl discs in a screen-printed bag. Multiple pressings were released, including the Mondo variant which was limited to 3000 copies produced.

Duel Master cards[]

Cards featuring the Prince and King of All Cosmos were released for the Duel Masters game. The cards' information texts read:

A picture frame celebrating the Bandai Namco merge was sent out to shareholders. The text on the paper in the second image reads: "To our shareholders Dear Sir, I would like to extend my sincerest congratulations to all of our shareholders for your continued support and prosperity. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued patronage. Now, at our company, to commemorate the integration of Bandai Co., Ltd. and Namco Co., Ltd. A Tee of The King of All Cosmos from 2004.
Three handmade plush dolls of Foomin, The Prince, and Ace were sewn by Keita Takahashi's sister.^[13] These were distributed in a giveaway by Penny Arcade.^[14]	Foomin, The Prince, and Ace.
A transparent screen protector was produced for the release of Touch My Katamari. Due to the touch-screen feature of the game, producing a transparent film for protection would be convenient to prevent smudge marks and scratches.	The packaging of the film.
