  • There is a "lost" mythical continent in the Pacific Ocean with the same name as Mu, this is being referenced when Mu gets rolled up in Katamari Forever.
  • He can be found in Dangerous Colony and Make a Star - Danger in Beautiful Katamari and Katamari Forever, he’s standing on an island in the polar region.
    • He can be rolled up at 300m
  • A cousin resembling Mu with bug arms and legs along with only three eyes can be seen in the Katamari Wa Damacy album art. Because Mu's first appearance was in Me and My Katamari, this may have been one of his concept designs.
    Bug mu

Me & My Katamari's Japanese box art

  • The Japanese box art for Me & My Katamari features the Prince surrounded by cousin silhouettes with only their eyes visible. Though Mu is not visible on this cover, the Cousins bear a heavy resemblance to him.
  • Mu’s description from the Beautiful Katamari Matching Game when translated reads: "It's unknown whether if its a black mist or powder, but he is always wearing it. His drawback is that he often stains the floor black. His good side is that he always keeps her promises."
  • Similar to Lalala, in Katamari Forever, not only can you see the change in shading where his face texture would begin, you can also see the indent of a nose where it would be on other cousins' faces.
