The Prince Island is the main hub in Me & My Katamari. Here The Prince is able to select any of the levels by going to any of the animals that are on the main island or travel to Volcano Island to complete the special requests. The Prince Island also has a slingshot to launch into a level, if on the Volcano Island, the player will get lauched by volcanic eruption. The Prince Island is his owned by himself or by which cousin that the player chooses, there is a ferris wheel to view the collection, similar to how it is in Katamari Damacy.
The island also has a treasure chest for changing the player's presents, seashells to view movies and listen to songs, the networks table and records for online functions, a boat to travel between islands, a pond-like pool to save or load your game, the sign on the island can be changed to a different name at any time. There is a ukulele to change sound options, a ranking board to see your own score rankings of saved data, a photo album to see the pictures you've taken with your camera and a hot air balloon to view your collection of islands.
There is also a separate island called the Beanstalk Island where the player can change the cousin that they are.

The Prince island itself is a mostly green island with sand covering the island, the island has a lower beach area and a higher cliff area with a pond and waterfall. The island is covered in palm trees and has a dock with a soup bowl to be used as a boat to visit the neighboring islands.
The Volcano Island is a brown island with a volcano in the center being it's most prominent feature, there are a few animals on this island, and the name of the island is written on rocks by the shore.
The Beanstalk Island is a green island with a brown bottom, the island is inhabited by the cousins, the player can enter the ocean where it's mostly blue underwater and the beanstalk's roots can be seen. The player also has the option to visit the skies where more cousins are, there are white clouds here and the tips of the beanstalks can be seen here.
